George is a man of himself, I sat and had many chats with George, and what fun we had, Talking about his life as a kid growing up, he was a good lad growing up in a tough area. He shared with me that will always stay with me, about his early life. George is a member that always said how it was, I remember turning up at his home and he had a sack of bird mix. He took all the corn out of the bag, and I asked him, "What are you doing?" He said my birds don't like it. But they do love cress. He was a great guy to be with. So funny. This was the side i loved spending time with him, Every bird in the loft he was so proud of, and i would have to handle everyone. And give him my thoughts. He is a guy that everyone would love to meet.

Yes I remember him well off the old chat. Was always a prominent poster and always up for a bit of banter.
Fingers crossed that they might be able to stabilise him and get him settled for his families sake.

I had a message of Will this morning, George will be moving into the care home this week. So Will his son, and the family, will start clearing the bunglow on Thursday. He sent me this photo asking if i wanted the books belonging to George.

OK Dev
Sadies Lofts home of decent birds just a useless loft manager, and now a confirmed loser but proud

I still have the pedigree, from the best bird George bought. It was a cracker Buster. You may remember it Buster, a red cock.
I’ve got grandchildren off him I think Devo.
I was only looking at the pedigree last night Andy, the guy that sold the red cock to George. Lives 3 mile from me.
