I'm going to have to agree with this advice!

Remember racing pigeons are a prey species, this means that when they are ill they are excellent at hiding the problem until it's overwhelming them! They don't want to look weak to a potential predator!

So the moment you have a second of doubt about a bird, separate it and ask the question!

They can go from looking fantastic to 10mins from dead very quickly!

Live on You Tube was the basketing of the birds for the OLR tomorrow 143 miles from Yeovil to the loft.
They started off with 40 pigeons (Y/Bs) 1st race last week this week down to 32, 2 birds are staying home injured.
My 2 birds in in the basket for tomorrows race so fingers crossed

The bird that came 2nd last week won it this week
a bird that came 4th last week was 3rd this week
but all good fun to watch not sure on returns as yet will find out tomorrow
