Hi All,
Today was the first race of the One-Loft race I entered, its a fella in Cornwall I have been following on You Tube for a few years now.
with the followers each week he put it out there did we fancy joining in, the birds are his forever and all money that comes in is paid out over 7 races I think.
£50.00 per bird I got Two, 00424 and 00450 so from today's race from 120 miles 00424 came 7th, a group of 4 landed first then 1 minute behind came the second group of five or six which mine was in, so not to bad for the first race looking forward to next Saturday 134 miles next week.
I still have the Autumn One-Loft Race starting in October that's the big one over 1000 birds in that.

The one I am in started with 350 birds. I got a small syndicate of non -fanciers involved and entered 2. Within 3 weeks of sending them 2 really healthy, robust, youngsters, one of them had died.
He is up to the 8 mile training point and he is down to just 93 birds. The daily losses are staggering and my non fancier buddies are now asking the wrong sort of questions.
I won't be entering again next year.

He has a lot of followers on You Tube and decided to do a OLR with his own Y/Bs for the followers to be able to have a bird for these races and follow their progress. All monies paid in is paid out to the top 5 pigeons / people each week. It's a bit of interest and he goes live on You-Tube for each race mainly Saturday's unless the race changes due to weather.
