Bicc Pau International.

Talk about anything racing pigeon related here aslong as there isnt a section for it.

I'm sure there will be some of the "night-flyers" clocked into Holland with all the lighting they have around their lofts
But looks like I'm getting up at silly o clock in the hope that they might of crossed the channel earlier this evening.
Bring them home Dave in winning time.

Outstanding UK pigeon into Radstock. If a UK bird can get that far West on the day, then although it may sound harsh, many of the UK entry cannot be good enough. It's the 2nd longest flying bird on the result.

Brilliant just brilliant - totally against the wind too.
All credit to them and that fantastic little bird.

well done to the partnership Clive, Jill, & Neil Sales I said that he had some decent distance pigeons just the other day.
Really pleased for them all, they put in a tremendous amount of work & deserve this .

560 miles, 2nd longest distance on day. From the time it was clocked it's clear that the bird must have broken very early at the start of the race and probably flown most of the entire flight on it's own, crossing the channel very far West. Standing at 28th International dropping down just 4 positions overnight due to Dutch pigeons clocked early this morning.

They fly in the next village to me down near Bath, they have a few sprinter's which Neil looks after flying the inland program, but also helps out with the large distance team that they have built up over the last few year's, they've been knocking on the door regularly at the longer races with the BICC.

It's a brilliant performance and it's looking like it could be the only bird in race time as nothing else has crossed the channel yet up to now.
There are plenty of birds clocked on the continent so can't necessarily say it was a tough race. The only difference between our English birds and those on the continent is the 'channel'.
That brave little bird made the crossing last night on its own. I have seen photos of that section of the coast this morning and it has been solid fog all morning - our club birds were supposed to be at Purbeck but they have had to move them back inland to get a lib.
