Bicc Pau International.

Talk about anything racing pigeon related here aslong as there isnt a section for it.

Anyone else sent......
10,000 plus birds libbed at 7.45 this morning.
I have sent my 5 best cocks.
I think there could be day birds on the South Coast but not expecting any up here in Northamptonshire until the early hours and thats if I am lucky.
This race is the culmination of 3/4 years work.
The temperatures through France look brutal, I would be very pleased just to get them home. If I get 4 home I shall be well chuffed, if I get 3 home I shall be both pleased and disappointed, if I get 2 back I would be disappointed if I only get 1 back I would be gutted. If I don't get any back - I shall probably pack up. :o

Thank you Chris. The English contingent is somewhat disappointing for this one. So would be good to have more fanciers taking up the distance challenge.

Cheers Dave, that's all I am looking for is good returns from this one. Obviously one in the clock would be fantastic but all 5 are a representation of my stock loft so this one race will tell me if I am heading in the right direction to achieve my ultimate goal.
A 2yo out of my Rieks hen has been my 1st bird back from 5 channel races. Don't want to jinx him but I have great expectations for all 5.
However an international is a lot different to a national and with the brutal temperatures through France. I just hope I haven't asked too much of them.

Looks like being a tough one. Nothing in England on day 1 ( up to now that is) and only 80 odd on the North Coast of France and Belgium
I'm sure there will be some of the "night-flyers" clocked into Holland with all the lighting they have around their lofts
But looks like I'm getting up at silly o clock in the hope that they might of crossed the channel earlier this evening.
