Hello all!

I'm currently going through some of the books, I've got on the side, and wondering what books the forum recommends for novice fanciers?

Key books in my collection:

Loft Stock and Barrel - Barry McNicholas

Pigeon Racing Advanced Techniques - Jan Aerts

The Flying Vet - Pigeon Health & Management - Colin Walker

If you can get hold of Winning Naturally by Alf Baker it’s an excellent read, and give a real insight into how a champion fancier thinks.

Pretty sure that's in my Grandads collection, that one in particular I've been waiting for my brother to find! 😅

My club mate flew in Alf bakers club and was partners with Frank Blackmore
He always says Alf baker would win the same now with new methods as then
He’s the one fancier I would have loved to have meet. There can’t be many around with a record like his.

Two great names from the L.N.R.C.. I think Frank Blackmore was at school with Alf Baker and stayed in the same street, and could fly a good bird from Lerwick.
