Hello all!
I'm currently going through some of the books, I've got on the side, and wondering what books the forum recommends for novice fanciers?
Key books in my collection:
Loft Stock and Barrel - Barry McNicholas
Pigeon Racing Advanced Techniques - Jan Aerts
The Flying Vet - Pigeon Health & Management - Colin Walker

If you can get hold of Winning Naturally by Alf Baker it’s an excellent read, and give a real insight into how a champion fancier thinks.

Yes think feeding is totally wrong I think if u fed he's system in reverse u get better drops of birds .
Two great names from the L.N.R.C.. I think Frank Blackmore was at school with Alf Baker and stayed in the same street, and could fly a good bird from Lerwick.NeilA wrote: Wed Nov 05, 2025 4:13 pmMy club mate flew in Alf bakers club and was partners with Frank BlackmoreSteve Howells wrote: Wed Nov 05, 2025 12:42 pmWinfort Lofts wrote: Wed Nov 05, 2025 10:05 am Hello all!
