If you can get hold of Winning Naturally by Alf Baker it’s an excellent read, and gives a real insight into how a champion fancier thinks.

Pretty sure that's in my Grandads collection, that one in particular I've been waiting for my brother to find!

My club mate flew in Alf bakers club and was partners with Frank Blackmore
He always says Alf baker would win the same now with new methods as then

He’s the one fancier I would have loved to have meet. There can’t be many around with a record like his.

Yes think feeding is totally wrong I think if u fed he's system in reverse u get better drops of birds .

Two great names from the L.N.R.C.. I think Frank Blackmore was at school with Alf Baker and stayed in the same street, and could fly a good bird from Lerwick.
