I like to give bath salts to me and my dad's stock birds to keep them healthy but not the racers

I normally just use water from the tap & usually add some blue crystals to it, not sure what it's called ( could be copper sulphate) I may be wrong on that, I'll have to have a look tomorrow & correct it if it's wrong.

I only tried it in the bath water this morning so not really sure, maybe after I've used it a few times then I can gauge if they feel handle different .

A pigeon will handle worse for having a bath as you are washing it's bloom off. Nothing you can add to the bath will make it handle better. You can't change a birds feather type. It's either course or silky. If it's course 'natural' condition will improve it, but not to the extent of making silky. Natural silky feathered birds will always handle better than a course feathered one.

Verkon s is unbelievable don't kill all the good bacteria was tested in kio carp ponds and kio breeders used verkon with great success it didn't even kill the eggs so verkon does zero harm to pigeons it all so kills 46 types of fungi all mycoplasma and and viruses as well dose is 5gm to 5litres but seen affects with 10gms per litre ,,in south after the do 2 treatments now of 10 days verkon s and don't use antibiotics.

Best bath for birds is 2 table spoons epsom salts 2 teaspoon bi carb soda to 10 litres water this breaks down lactic acid and definitely helps asodosis
All so if u get wing lock 5 days this hand bath and bird will start flying again proper .

Emtryl definitely stood the test of time it was to go to years ago

Don't train on it tho ,they won't clear proper.

hello Anthony, can you go into this a bit more, do you mean it won't clear canker or do you mean clear when libbed from training head straight for home.

If you use Emtrl or dr v d sluice tdc the birds don't orientate right when let go they circle low to floor you will get poxy tosses if this is in water ok pal .
