I hear what you are saying Andy but the bicc dont publish even a provisional result until 5 or 6 pm anyway or even later as do other nationals, so that cant be the reason.

Got knocked by 219 ypm 
Bird was in at 3.55 and I couldnt verify til I got in at just after 6pm. So, the sec of bicc told me if you dont verify within half an hour you get given your verification time.
But how ironic is it that your second and subsequent birds still gets their clocking time without any penalty.
If it happens again, I 'll just have to hope for 2 coming together
