its not what i thought different feed .. in the UK top energy mixes are typically over 25% fat my mistake

100% gerry type mix is fine anytime everything else is heavier just add bit barley to thin it more theg don't need peas at all imo even more so maples they take more to prosses than they get from them add protine powder if you want protine don't feed heavy to try give it

the moult
now that were finnished ob racing whats people's preferred way to get them to have a good moult do they need any supplements or is that making someone money or just plenty grit minerals available and good corn and fats or oily seeds and a bath once a week

when i had a loft i was in there around 6am scraping them out and getting them out on there morning fly, then call them in and small amount of feed.
afternoon they would go out again and i would clean the loft and there food pots and fresh water. if they there being lazy i would try to keep them ...

Good luck with them Chris. You might even get them into the last few young bird races - going as "trainers"
I'm no authority mate but I think 30 miles is plenty.
Me personally - I dont put y.birds in the race basket unless they have been singled up from at least 25 miles
you might have to pay ...

initially they were sold out but our secretary got some but that was a while ago you got to ring constantly
