A new comp for the young bird season, from the lofts of the Spieker family in Germany. Leon as agreed to use his loft for the comp. So a big thank you to him and his family, so you guess the time.
of when the first young bird will arrive from the race, and be the first to hit the trap. Leon will post when the first race is, with the distance of the first race. And any more details he can give about the race.

The Need For Speed

In the sport of racing pigeons, the need for speed is the essence. Split seconds can make a champion. So you have to be in racing mode when competing.

No ifs or no buts, that does not win you races. So what are we looking for?

Buying top breeding stock from proven race winners, this gives you a good start to the sport.

Nutrition is also a main topic to winning races; it is all about knowing how to feed.

Healthy birds are winning birds; it is paramount that your loft and the birds are kept in top condition.

Training your birds is all about routine. Release and fly home. In the fastest time. Preparing them for racing.

So we are going to follow a member's racing pigeon loft. And we can check the racing program and also get the results from racing.

Leon from the Spieker family lofts ,will keep us updated on the young bird races

So we are going to have a little comp, going on from the first race. Members will guess the flying time, of the first youngster hitting the trap. This will be on a point system, so it depends on how many members enter.
