Tony my old sec from the club Brian Walsh, would come to my loft and inject my youngsters, They would be around 4 to 5 weeks old. all youngsters injected would be recorded by myslf for my own racords. And also from Brian for the club. The cost at that time i paid 20p Per youngster. I hope this helps.

Vaccination to be able to race my birds in the club Tony. Leon covered his Vaccination process Tony. Which to me is a great protection for his birds.

Tony whatever club you join, there will be members who will help or vaccinate your birds, all you have to do is purchase the vaccine, it comes with everything necessary to do the job I.E. needles, and forms for your records.

Unfortunately Tony we have no option about vaccinating for paramyxovirus if we want to race. If we did I wouldn’t do it. I do mine myself with another club member or Roxanna. Records have to be kept, type of vaccine used, batch number, expiry date, date of vaccination and ring numbers of all birds vaccinated.

Just to confirm Tony. The only vaccination that is mandatory is the one for paramyxovirus. I do believe there are only 2 companies that produce it one is oil based and the other water based.
You don't NEED any other vaccinations to race your birds and neither do the birds but anything else you give is your choice.
