Might be after a mealy / red cock if you have yb or older bird mate, I picked up a lost pigeon and the owner dosnt want it back so I guess I might be coming back,

Ah, I get it now lol. I didnt read your previous message mate - sorry. So recuse should have said Rescue.
I shall be racing all my younguns mate. But I do have a very nice mealy pied cock in my stock loft if you want to "borrow" him for a while. But I do want him back before breeding next year.

I will be coming through Welly on Tuesday a.m. on my way back from bocc marking at Harrowden. I can drop it off to you if you will be there

Doesn’t want it back? And you wonder why the game is on its knees

Its sad when someone does not want his bird back, but this seems to be the way the game is going. I would travel any distance if it was my bird.

I do feel for the guy Chris, and well done you for making it easy for hom.
I dread getting birds reported by non fanciers ehen you know you are obliged to get them back.
