Anyone from the Newbury area. I am looking for a safe place to liberate a small trailer of trainers for our fed members without having to pay the ludicrous £70 charge required at the showground.....
Have you tried a google search of the area to find a suitable location DaveDiamond Dave wrote: Thu Jul 02, 2026 6:41 pm Anyone from the Newbury area. Sadies Lofts home of decent birds just a useless loft manager, and now a confirmed loser but proud

Have a look at this one Dave, large open spaces.

Aaaahhhww thanks for taking the time n trouble to look into that for me lads.
I had already googled it but google maps doesnt give enough info like size of car parks, restrictions etc. So I was hoping someone might have a bit of local knowledge.

Cheers lads, this will be around 5- 7 am on a weekday
Time enough to get the water on and away and home in time before lads go to work.
My thinking is that there wont be many folk around at that time - if I actually ask beforehand and they say no. I am fooked! Whereas if I just pitch up and get it done, no-one would be any the wiser.
Using the fed lorry its likely only be 1 or 2 chucks from there with 2 or 3 building up to Newbury all before the 1st yb race.
Would expect everyone to have their birds trained up to at least 25 miles before hand.
