I'm same as you George but mine hasn't arrived quite yet, many many happy memories to look back on and some very sad ones, just been speaking to my brother after his hospital appointment this morning they have said his cancer has returned with a vengeance and could be weeks or very short months, sorry about Maria only met her the once but what a lovely lady she is

I was with the birds when i was younger Tony, I topped the liverpool amal Hereford 2 young bird race 7200 birds. Not long after i went to work in Germany on the black stuff. Later i started working in the pub game, i had shares in horses and i raced Greyhounds. It was only when returned to Halewood, i started with birds again. It is a sport were if you dont put it in, you wont take anything out. Its all about giving all no matter what time of the day. It is paramount the birds health is so impotant, for them to show there true ability. The sad thing about the sport, is other flyers sometimes give the respect to others. To me its all about taking part to keep the sport going. If that happens we are all winners.

You can only put in what ever time you have to spar Andy, think we all wish we had more time for the sport mate.
Good luck selling up and retirement when it comes along.
Will you be moving and having to set up again with your birds.
