In any sport around the world, the need for speed is paramount. Races are won or lost in split seconds, so make it happen.
The Need For Speed
Great videos again Devo.
can I just ask when you are all racing your birds, when it comes to training for trapping your birds do you have coloured Traps, do you use whistles, do you use corn in a tin.
which is the best way you have found to train your birds to trap.
also the BEZING SYSTEM is this now used by everyone racing pigeons and for a small loft with say one or two traps what would this system cost and for a beginner is it easy to fit and use.

I just call mine in n shake a tin. But - a flag is up and they know they can't come down til I take the flag down when trap is open.
Old birds know the routine but ybs are taking a while to get used to it.
Flag is just an orange carrier bag taped to a fishing pole .

I always used the tin to shake the corn, even when i was just obsereving in the loft. It's all about routine with the birds, everyday is the same. From loft tasks to training or just flying around the home.Tony-P- wrote: Sat Jun 13, 2026 6:28 am Great videos again Devo.

Routine, Routine Routine. To be honest Tony, I dont know the prices now, but my 2 bird clock pad with equipment cost me £320.00. But that was a while ago. When i had the birds.
Yes Buster i have contacts over there, I have been to Guangzhou China 4 times. Also, Hong Kong, but to be honest, I am not well enough to travel at present. I am hoping my Grandson gets involved.
do you ever fly a couple of your old birds with the young birds to help them learn the ropes or is that a bad thing to doDiamond Dave wrote: Sat Jun 13, 2026 8:02 am I just call mine in n shake a tin. But - a flag is up and they know they can't come down til I take the flag down when trap is open.
