I'm not one for testing in general unless the pigeons are genuinely ill
I think vets have a vested interest to find things as they can charge you more
Not always the case but it can have a bearing on their diagnosis
A friend always use to say to me that the treatments are more for our health than the birds at times lol

To be fair this one never wanted to sell me a thing as there it vets so they can’t
But your right RP diagnostic and poultry heath combined charge was around £350 for testing and treatment
It's crazy how some are as honest as they day is long then some want a crazy amount for essentially off the shelf products we all have access to
I believe in testing if the birds are ill visibly or actively under performing over the course of at least 2 weeks
If you've had birds long enough you will have a good idea what's wrong with them and how to treat it
