Mick was 5th pal
16ypm separated 25 positions
Most had a nice race but you get days where birds try but better birds beat you.

I cant believe the standard of your club Ant. I thought with the effort you put in pre-season you would clean up but having seen the credentials of your club mates that you posted last week, we can all see what you are up against.
Just wondered if thrre is any prize/pool money to fly for that makes it that much more competetive...?

I’m sure he knows what he’s going to do Dave
If it was me I wouldn’t change a thing
Very true Neil

I'd only be concerned if the team performance was questionable, and Ant says that the birds came well, so it's just a question of all the ducks getting lined up in a row
I expect high things Mike I'm like you n Neil but I can't panic it's there 2nd race south they are north rd birds and unraced baby's so there learning on the job there in good order this week a good testing north east wind birds should get broke up more ,,
Thing is how fed don't come on there true racing line we're conveyed by another fed we get liberated after there's and for some reason how birds seem to come in slightly off line as if there chased the other fed before they kicked for home ,,
And how fed velocity is allways 50 to 100 ypm quicker off same lorry .

No prize money dave
See in fed we have Freddie bannister a top flyer 15,16 mile short and in great location many times whole fed go over he's village then in Wisbech n Walsoken mick goddfrey n Alan maile few hundred yds from each other in line with each other another 2 top lofts then two east there's Stuart mccurry top top flyer then Willie beckett another top top flyer n me I'm 4 miles behind these 2 lads ,so if a bird is tiny bit of line ya done
Saturday Freddie mick goddfrey Alan maile all with in 5ypm each other me and Willie beckett 3ypm between us but we was 30 to 38 secs of fed winners first 30 places in fed will be gone in 40 seconds with a radius of over a big area its racing pigeons here not homing pigeons.

Funny, we had 6/7 weeks of East winds at start last year but many have had blow homes in these last 2 weeks of W and SW.
You can put everything into it to beat your fellow competitors but it seems to me that you cant beat the wind!

To this day my best performance I was beat in fed it was short race south east wind I was most easily loft in fed so at the big disadvantage I sent 17 birds had 15 together took first 6 in club by ten minutes and was 2,3,4,5,6 fed against all odds
Two this day it was My favourite performance.
