This week was a very nice week for me i would like to thank the north Midlands continental club for inviting me to join the club for free which i was chuffed about and then I've also been gifted a pair of young birds for the channel from Kevin healy who is a very good channel flyer and if anyone is interested in looking is a flyer in the section k of the national flying club and is all ways there on bad day so if your on here Kevin thanks very much

Good news and a nice touch that you've been able to join the NMCC Jack - especially free of charge.

This is a good moment to align with the goals ahead for the 2026 season as the season's about to start

This is your first year flying on your own Jack. The target is simple. You need to be the best young flier in the RPRA this year (bar none). If you're not at Blackpool in January 2027 picking up a trophy then we've failed. It's that simple.

There's no crime in setting the bar high.

Don't be one who just settles for being in the middle of the pack. The middle of the pack is a comfortable place to be. To be the best you have to be bold, keep pushing forwards, asking for better, demanding better (of yourself and the birds)

2026 will be a steep learning curve that's for sure. There'll be knocks. There always are with pigeons. It's how you respond that matters.
