I once had a bird reported by a ex fancier who caught the bird in Castleford Town centre. I'd lost this bird off the loft top as a squeaker 8 years before. I collected the bird and found it was still wearing its name & address ring although all the print had worn off. The bird was in decent condition.CHARLTON34 wrote: Wed Mar 11, 2026 7:47 pm Would you say that's been in another loft all this time Mike, I can't think that it would of survived all this time roughing it with BOP.
I had another bird return after 5 years which I lost at 500 miles. This bird was my 4th bird in the clock at 500 miles the year after.
