I treat before racing with doxy t from Dr Colin walker
Then I treat 3rd race Neil normally because early races are east winds and I will treat again if I get 2 back to back east winds once its warm and west in wind they don't normally need anything but east winds cripple the respo of a pigeon.

The last couple of years the East winds have been unusually bright, sunny and warm unlike the East winds that are damp n hazy. - Do they both have the same effect on the respo system?

I think you're wise to do that Neil

The East winds tend to offer a lack of moisture in the air. It's what's known as a "dry day"

It's interesting how certain families cope better on these sort of days than others.

I find when u vaccine baby's if its hard to find a spot to put needle where its neck is full of feathers these are my best east wind pigeons when I find pink skin on bk of neck easy on a baby its a faster warmer day pigeon iv noticed over the years

Anyone used Chlorosol 50 for bacteria or respo issues
Believe it’s used on poultry and pigs someone mentioned it was good for both particularly bacteria that hasn’t shifted

I have pal good stuff I had proper stuff when I reared pheasants think it's 1gm per 2 litres

Your right Anthony
The guy I spoke with said similar you don’t need much like a teaspoon to 5-8 liters depending on the temperature etc
This guy runs a small poultry farm said it’s the best stuff going better than a lot of the more well known names and brands

Ya pal 2019 I reared 3000 baby pheasants breeder give us oxytetracycline n chlortetracycline 50 percent but I used vita pro combo every day in water and lost under 20 baby's out of 3000 so once the breeder collected them I had the medication left over lol
