I think it'll be very close. Got to keep Stokes, Archer and wood fit. If we need spin I would go with Jack's and a bit of part time from Root over Bashir who just shouldn't be anywhere near a test team for me. Jack's is no mug with the bat too.

Knock that last wicket over asap in the morning a lead over 40ish be very handy on that pitch. We just want a decent knock from root tomorrow to set him up for the series. We have a brilliant bowling attack we just need to get runs on the board and we are right in this series

One of few sports I don’t watch, my grandad used to love it so years ago I’d watch the odd game with him but soon got bored of it. Football and boxing are my main sporting interests, golf and cricket are right at the bottom of the list. We all have different hobbies and interests otherwise we’d all be boring liking the same things.

What you fancy Goose I had 3-2 to them but greatly encouraged after last night
Obviously they going to get stronger when the other pair return to the strike force . I kind of think we could do it 3-2 now
We've got to get the job done here and go 1-0 if we do we have a great chance. That's the best I've seen us bowl, ever. It was just relentless pace and accuracy.

It's a pigeon forum let's not talk cricket

Awful I don't think we'll recover from this. 5-0 could easily be incoming now

Seems to be the way of all things these days if it’s not crash bang wallop then it’s no good the man that amazed me was Joe root, he’s got the ability to dig himself in and stay there for a fortnight, they were clearly playing to orders, it’s fine for T20, 100 etc but this approach will not succeed even against an under par Aussie test side

A few silly shots again today
360 would be a nice score
Glad Root got his 100
Yep some very poor shots and decisions in stokes case. We should have been totally in control but happy enough with where we've ended up with that last stand
