Good to see a few that have become member's of the forum, think it's at 154 at this moment. Hope it continues to grow moving forward.

Yeah, Tim decided to closed the forum part and focus purely on the money making side of things, which is fair enough seeing as it was his money being spent at the end of the day!

Good to see active topic & quality information the last couple of week's, can I ask what would be the cost involved to keep the forum going, I've not got a clue how these things work or are funded to keep going, I think Andy might have said before he decided to leave the forum, that Devo had paid for the subscription?.

It all depends how much is outsourced Vs done in house.

I know that Pigeon Chat was costing around £1000+ a month at the time of shutting down.

I also know that meant paying massively over the odds, and I was looking at cutting the figure massively and making the site profitable with the need of the auctions to subsidise it.

But as I say, Tim chose to go in a different direction which is his right to do so!

As for this site, I am not privvy to Chris' setup, so couldn't possibly pass comment!

Bloody expensive group to run for 5 mates to talk about the weather for a few years
Yes, I know as I say, that price was greatly inflated. Wether that was to put me off trying to to take over the forum at the time, or wether he was genuinely paying that I couldn't possibly say!
