I’m looking for either barley or peas then work around that then build from there in my normal way
With flying a few longer races and birds coming home different days with holdovers and distance . I was wanting a mix they could top up in the rebuild that my sprinters that may have just had a 100 mile race wouldn’t pig out on

Richard wade uses beans a lot I think in his feed Neil, think Northern Power House YouTube clip talks about it, not sure what distance he's flying.

Lock cocks in boxes until everything is fed then each pigeon can be fed exactly how you want to feed them .NeilA wrote: Sun Oct 12, 2025 5:45 pmI know what you meanAnthony webster wrote: Sun Oct 12, 2025 5:14 pm If ya nrcc Neil the last feeds are down to conveyer n at nrcc it looked like best all round they get on the lorry nothing special was in clear bags maples maize n wheat mostly ,,and the grills on the Geraldy wagon ain't deep so food spilled out and then shit on will be eaten following morning so the most important days are out you hand for nrcc ,,

I fed 50 per cent fats last 2 days as I new there be none
The bit I can’t work out is how I go about nrcc birds and sprint in the same section
For recovery for nrcc and tick over for sprint say nrcc go up Sunday 350 miles head wind
Fed 100 miles Saturday it’s the Sunday to Wednesday feed more than last feeds if you see what I mean
I still want to build my sprinters like normal as my babies only had one race there more for fed races plus 2/3 others

So I cocked up not thinking of sprinting and nrcc when I did it
I put v’s at every high point
I thought of screwing a pot next to them but that goes back to feeding in the dark in the morning and disturbing them
More than I need
I could feed 25 per cent barley or beans every day and if some are recovering they can keep scoffing maybe

I had it on my mind but thought I dont really understand whats in them
Can they get mould ? Or fungus at all
I have only used them for stock like a spoon with fats first feed not left
Poultry pellets cooked at such a temp you can't get mould or fungi with them ok
