Hello, what's your thoughts with this vaccine for Salmonella, this is administered orally. Vaccinate ybs in the first week of life with 1 drop of a freshly dissolved vaccine into the beak. Older birds dose 0.2mls orally.
Regards Dave.

We do don't do ours but I know of a couple of very successful lofts who do use it. I think I'm right in saying it can even go in the drinking water for a flock vaccination. I've heard one or two other things about it and it's use but best not to say as it was second hand info.

Is this not a live vaccine, which is not allowed in the UK. Probably comes via Southern Ireland.

I believe the only 'live' vaccine licensed in the UK is for Pox. There's a reason for this, 'live' vaccines if not used correctly can cause outbreaks.

Not used this one, I have used the Chevita one in the past. TBH i'm not sure its worth doing unless you have a history of paratyphus in the loft.

A mutual friend of ours (MB) was definitely using it in the off season a year or two back. Not sure if that's still the case

Anthony, what's your thinking with Salgen against say Samo PT, I expect you've tried other Paratyphoid vaccines over the year's, do some in your opinion have better results.
