Talk about anything racing pigeon related here aslong as there isnt a section for it.

There's a way to race late breds most try to treat them like old birds that's wrong ,,
Two race late breds I like 12 tosses between 9 n 12 weeks of age loft fly all winter long ,train them from spring onwards on nice days forget racing in April and early May just forget it OK there baby feathers ain't set up for cold weather racing u will lose them 100 percent now wait until late May about 7 races from end of old bird season and start racing them they will be brilliant some days n poor other days but you won't lose no more than you would yb racing in 2023 I had 32 late breds they raced 7 races and out of a possible 35 fed positions they won 26 fed prices and topped fed I started with 32 and had 26 left after 7 races this is how you race late breds ok lads.

If I had a option a baby bred in Dec put on darkness until 21st June and raced loads or a late bred I have a late bred
If you offered me a baby born in Apr or may raced 4 to 6 times or a late bred I have the Apr may bred baby .

If I was to race late breds again I would put lights on 24hr aday from when weaned until 1st January they will moult a flight every 14 days any flights left at beginning of January I would cut with scissors and Jan the 14th pull them flights and turn lights of n shut loft down by 1st march the birds would have a full wing and full body moult as well these would only be 6,7 months old but they will be big and strong big wing n full new body as well.
