Not good for me here in the shires BB.
1st young bird race wasn't quite what I was hoping for.
BUT, I only sent as trainers anyway.
Sent 28 , had 6 or 7 in race time then they just stopped coming. Eventually finished up with 16 on the day and another dropped this morning. So 11 short.
I expected to drop maybe 4 or 5 but there are still a half dozen that I am expecting home.
Training culminated in 3 x 30 mile chucks, one of which was a single-up. 1st race was 88 miles.
Lots of empty perches in the club last night.
