Her is an email I received today

February marks the start of the 2025 racing season. Time to make plans and get your pigeons ready for a successful season.
Here is some important advice for the next few weeks anyway.

From weaning onwards, the young pigeons are given Young birds racing Exclusive No. 37 or Junior Pro Revolution No. 49, which they must eat completely after the first 2 weeks before they are given an extra portion. These mixtures feature the perfect ratio of legumes, fats, proteins and carbohydrates. We can safely feed these mixtures to the young pigeons as a racing mixture throughout the week up to and including the first speed races. Because this mixture also contains enough fibre, the youngsters' intestinal flora remains healthy. Every day they get Health Balance in the drinking water and a portion of Super Grit Mix, twice a week HYP 100 goes in the drinking water and for Junior Flight Exclusive users Endurance+ may be added to the feed moistened with Bronchostar. With Junior Revolution this is not necessary as the pro immune pellet already contains the necessary vitamins and probiotics.

We give the old racers a modified mixture from the weaning of their youngsters until they are released daily again. Winter/Rust No. 16 is ideally suited for this purpose. It contains little or no legumes but the necessary fibres that are essential for this time of year. With this mixture, we strengthen the pigeons for the coming racing season and they will be in condition as soon as the races start. For the racers who are back in the rhythm of daily training and ready to start training flights, it is time to choose a light sport mixture. For the hens this is Lady Mix No. 56 and for the cocks Sport Light Pro Revolution or Depurative Casaert No. 418. For the speed virtuosos who want to be there straight away on the first flights, the new Speed Pro Revolution is the ideal mixture from the training flights onwards. Daily distribution of a portion of Super Grit Mix, Health Balance in the drinking water and a weekly bath with Vanrobaeys Bath Salts promote the health of your pigeons. For further flight schedules with customised advice for each distance visit our website or send us an email.

Tip: Use Health Balance in high dosage 4 ml./1 litre for a week and then 2 ml. daily to get rid of the old fuzz and to get the pigeons tight again.

Good luck and sporting greetings,
