We had our club AGM this morning. We had no resignations and 4 new members join. So now up to about 24 members.
Back just enjoying club racing for the time being.

Our club has an open radius. We have members over a 25 mile radius. There is very little choice down this way. As a club we are racing in both the WOESRC and the 3 Counties. I think most of the birds and members will be racing with the 3 counties. We had a quick estimate as to the number of old birds that could be sent to the 3 counties so that we could sort out the number of crates we are likely to need. We estimated around 450 birds.

So is that 25 miles from the central point making 50 ?
I think you said last year but I can’t remember
I guess being a rural area and no one really coming in the sport we will all be in the same situation as you soon
I think you do great to just go to marking in a Friday I don’t know if I could

No Neil. I was wrong in saying a 25 miles radius. It is around 25 miles from East to West and around 15 miles South to North.

The 3 counties is a club in its own right in as much as we are all individual members. But we are also a group of clubs. We have lofts in Cornwall, Devon and Somerset, hence the name 3 counties. The club radius is around 100 miles East to West, I am virtually the shortest flyer, and around 40 miles South to North.

No although the first 2 races if we send is only 18 miles to me. We do have only 4 races at under 80 miles with the old birds compared to 9 with the WOESRC. The longest with the 3 counties is 2 x 168 miles. The longest with the WOESRC IS 109 miles.
