Here's the thing.
I've never met any of you and don't agree with everything that everyone says.
But.
We are all here on a forum that is about pigeon racing. We must always think about how we say things.

I thought a open forum was for different views and debates no just praise and agreement
George left because 3 people had a different view no one insulted him
I thought George was being rude if anyone was plus he did use the F word that was edited out by a moderator yet I got pulled for saying I disposed of a pigeon if it was no good and asked to use different language when I used a mild every day word which was fine I understood

We can’t all just say that it’s great or your brilliant can we ? Seen enough of that stuff on Facebook you can put a picture of a street pigeon on there call it your number 1 cock and get 30 idiots to like it

Leon was probably my fault as I said I didn’t like a photo of a pigeon he purchased and adding a value to it wouldn’t matter or impress me
If pigeons were a way to make or talk about cost of pigeons it’s not why I got into it anyone can buy a pigeon with the funds there’s no skill in that from photoshop picture . I haven’t seen him since so I guess that was down to me although others also said it wasn’t for them
But in Georges case I don’t see anyone making him to go he just didn’t like others views

It is an open forum as you say with good, bad or just indifferent views but respect and thought should be given to all, especially as we all have different views on everything

If you read the topic when George left can you say if I was rude in anyway or was George rude don’t forget he said the site was better before Mike and myself joined
I didn’t say a word then as you know he used the F word so where was the respect shown to me by George ? It didn’t bother me one bit my toys never came out of the pram so he left on his own no one was rude or drovr him away

Aaah thats a shame, I always enjoyed reading Georges posts.
I read the start of the thread but didnt catch the end of it so didnt realise he'd taken it personally.
I have to admit I was very surprised at Georges reaction to the comments and actually thought it was a bit out of character to be honest.
Makes me wonder if he is alright. Does anybody know him personally or lives close by him......?

Neil, I read most of the comments and didnt think you was rude
or offensive in anyway, infact I thought you was very polite considering Georges misplaced comments.
I thought the mods done well to lock the thread to stop things festering and getting out of order but by the sound of it George had already got the hump - dont think anyone was offensive or rude.

Few things i would like to clear up about my current absence from here.
It has nothing to do with what anyone said. I dont think there were any bad intentions from anyone inside the post that we were discussing in. Of course i felt a bit misunderstood in the moment but i do still respect their opinion that they shared and there were no heart feelings involved in the discussion atleast from my side of things i still like everyone here and respect everyone. i been comming here every now and then and still read through everything.

I simply been dealing with alot in the past 1-2 months specially health wise which is the only reason why i haven't been around recently atleast not around to talk about stuff and create new topics etc.

it was strange, comments were out of order towards neil and Mike because he didn't want ANY NEGATIVE comments about anything and has a obvious problem with them joining site about same time I did from pigeon chat site closure Mike is a wealth of knowledge and most would do well to listen and listen again but some people don't like when people know more

Well said. I don't always agree with Mike or Neil, as they don't always agree with me. Just like on chat there's a few who think others can't disagree with their view. Everybody's view are welcome. I've never lost any sleep because somebody didn't agree with me, and just as on chat I've never resorted to name calling. Enjoy the sport, it ain't going to last forever.

Not sure what mod edited then Buster but it wasn’t George as I posted a reply when he swore reminding him that children could be looking in and that was deleted aswell
It doesn’t worry me but my point it there was a total lack of respect there which seems to be of no concern only George leaving seems the issue

I locked the topic and deleted 2 posts. The one by George using the F word and the reply of yours Neil, but only because it was a reply to George’s post and included the F word in the quote. Just felt it was the right thing to do.
