Yes well done Leon.
That's the first time I looked in to the live stream but I did feel I was disturbing your race.
Maybe its just me but I like to settle down on my own, half an hour before the predicted arrival and sit and write up any notes and weigh-up all the permutations before I start scanning the skies.

The final.

Last ob+yl race of the seaons. Brienne la Vieille 323 miles.
Despite the birds beeing in prestine shape i still struggled to convince myself to basket this race due to the huge distance jump from the last 3 races to this one. but i aint no coward and as the top lad wolfgang roeper once said. Gotta go all the way and don't quit half way through the season to have a top team in the end with experience.

Basketing on saturday. race on sunday. Barely got enough birds left in the combine to even make this race happen they only start if 150 birds raced otherwise combine championships etc are off. But we got 159 birds. Gonna be a fed race aswell so 9 combines racing.

More information of Leons birds flight. Now this is to hoxter, near where leon lives. So the birds have to cross from France, over Luxemburg /Belgium borders. Then across Germany. This flight path shows you how the birds, will fly in the direction shown on the map. But some birds dont fly straight, so more miles added to their flight.

Brienne la Vieille to the loft of Leon.
The flight path for racing pigeons from Brienne-la-Vieille, France (48.37° N, 4.53° E) to Hoxter, Germany (51.78° N, 9.38° E) covers an air distance of approximately 250 miles (400 km). The route takes birds northeast across the Champagne-Ardenne and Lorraine regions of France, over the Luxembourg/Belgium borders, and through the German states of Rhineland-Palatinate and North Rhine-Westphalia.

These calculations must be wrong mate :D :D :D Its 513 km to my loft aka 318 miles. But i appreciate the effort its gonna be a super tough race 40-50 kmh west winds predicted could be a possible flight duration of 7-9 hours for the first bird
