I agree with your reply Neil, I just think it needs looking at, definitely missing a trick & possibly new members.NeilA wrote: Mon Nov 17, 2025 12:36 pmBowbroom wrote: Mon Nov 17, 2025 12:04 pm It’s not just members that are needed it’s contributors, out of the 150 members how many actually contribute, 10, 12? And of those how many post regularly? Single figures I reckon I don’t think it’ll make a blind bit of difference if you had to be a member to view
I think by closing the site to the public and people having to join to view would make people viewing a topic more likely on the spur of the moment to reply once they have done that then they will be part of the subject and possibly reply again
Currently they might think I can’t be arsed to go through the joining and waiting for approval so by then they have lost the Initial interest to reply
If you got 3/4 by trying it its better than sat doing nothing
Like you say only about 12 post currently regularly
I know in the past there was less at times nothing for days pretty much
Be nice if we could get 20-25 posting
Got rid as soon as I seen themking wrote: Mon Nov 17, 2025 12:25 pm We had a 'new' member join late last night, and his first 7 posts were ads. See he and ads were removed.
