You might recall that'ss what I said a few weeks ago.
Start taking them to the new place and release them half a dozen times, a dozen times, doesn't matter.
When you move put them in the new loft for a couple of days while you remove the old loft. Once you are happy that they are settled in the new loft start letting them out a few at a time. They'll go straight back, find nothing there and drift back to the new place.

Well done on finding a place that lets you keep the pigeons.

Murray, yeah that's something I'll definitely be trying. I've not actually started moving them over yet, but I'll have a play with it before the move and see how they react to the new spot.

Devo, I've honestly not really looked into unconventional loft styles at all. I've just been thinking about how to make the best use of the space I've got.

One idea that has crossed my mind is a sort of triangle-shaped shed to fit into the angle of the garden. It could make use of what would otherwise be a fairly awkward bit of space, but I'm not sure how practical it would actually be as a pigeon loft

I'm still at the "throwing ideas around" stage really, so nothing decided yet.
