Do you also think if you did go down the route of the sorting process throughout the season in your opinion do you think if done year on year this would change your race results by having a routine that you adhere to, I think Anthony said on Chat going back a while ago that if you followed this routine you'd be in a far better place with your team.
I think Dave, that because of the threat of BoP these days there's a real temptation for people to keep hold of everything and everything that survives. They also feel the need to carry numbers in order to be able to compete.
Constant assessment of your pigeons makes sense to me though, because an idiot on a Saturday is an idiot every other day of the week too
That's all very true Mike & the assessment approach well that speaks for itself, far to many pigeons carried over to the following season some not raced as ybs or been retained because it's from such & such pair as well as the extra cost with feeding only to loose them the following season.
