As fsr as I can see BB you dont get a vote. the exec com. makes all the decisions on ur behalf.....
Under Lord Citrines convention a Chairman only has a casting vote if it is provided for within the Terms of reference (rules)
In the event of an even vote, if a casting vote is provided for it should be cast to maintain the Status Quo irrespective of how the original vote was cast, in other words even if the Chairman as delegate cast his vote as mandated for a change, his casting vote should preserve the existing rule.

It has the potential to be very good for me BB, so I dont want to dismiss it.
It is based on 3/4 clubs who dont want "fed" type racing anymore and are corridoor flying with the sole purpose of channel racing. - they dont even want to be called a "fed" as such.
There are a group of 4 or 5 lads who's idea it is that have chipped in to buy a trailer and these are the 'antagonists' of the exec com.
I am not in any of the clubs at the moment but have been told that I can join the association as an individual and send with any of the clubs involved.
What do you think would/could be bad about an exec. committee....?
What you say is true, but if clubs close and an ageing membership have to travel further to mark their birds this in itself will inevitably accelerate the decline, we have reached the point of return sadly imo and before anybody jumps in accusing me of being overly pessimistic I would welcome any initiative with any modicum of a chance of success that would arrest the decline.
Over the years along with others locally and regionally I have attempted to attract youngsters into the hobby and whilst our efforts have collected a few new members but nowhere near enough to replace those leaving.

hierachy at the RPRA, why ? because they wont let it!!!
I have got a great idea though - why dont they start a "future of the sport committee" to safeguard the future of the sport
Sorry BB, I tried to bite my tongue but Im just not made like that.
I guess theres no point in going over the same ground mate unless of course you could tell us what they actually achieved - because as we are still in the same boat, as far as I can see, the answer to that would be absolutely nothing and I wonder how much that cost.
- nothing personal my friend.

Just enjoy your racing Dave whatever you decide, I don't think we need to go over old ground again about the RPRA.

Ha ha I get the picture Dave. - its inherent mate. When I see something thats wrong, unfair or being abused I have to make light of it.
I am mindful that you and others are probably fed up with it and I will try not to get drawn into arguments on here but please dont ask me NOT to pass comment on my observations regarding the RPRA and everything they are NOT doing to move the sport forward - thats not fair.
I dont start any of these exchanges but respond to other ppls posts.
In any case Dave, asking "what happened to the future of the sport committee?" is a perfectly valid question given what was said in the post.

A good question that unfortunately the future of the sport committee was never going to achieve anything of any significants the same as the fight to get any change with the raptor alliance / & a realistic plan to challenge the R.S.P.B with regards to the over population we are faced with today.
Sorry I've gone off topic, just enjoy the racing in 2026, I hope all members of the forum have a good season coming whatever your Fed or Combine race program will be.
