Chlamydia treatment?

I had a pigeon reported two years ago 40 miles away a good one flown out I picked it up in awful condition from a non fancier I thought it would be dead by the time I got home or next morning at best
it couldn’t stand dropping like green water
I used amoxicillin and in 3 days it was standing and eating
I got some amoxicillin in powder form. I was hoping for tablets but I think blind treating will be a bit risky. She was eating well again today, but then most of the time hunched and her wings shaking like she was shivering. Wattles clean, throat clear still.

Thanks Neil. It was one of those ‘you need a bag of this just in case mate’ situations. I’m determined not to go down the antibiotic flock treatment route in any event, but if there’s something simple I can do to save a bird then of course I would, hence asking you guys.

You can get amoxicillin pills here in the uk though
Didn’t realise this Neil - I assumed it would be -prescription only and a right faff to get one
