Pics 1 and 2 are nest matesAndy wrote: Sat Jun 03, 2023 10:17 pm I really like the white one, the pair in the 3rd photo, the grizzle in the 6th and the pairs in the 8th & 9th photos.
the grizzle pied in pic 6 you have some same way bred, last year and this this is the first grizzle in ages from them for some reason they started producing chequers, remember the scalped one I kept back and replaced with the blue pied ''Steve'' well the cheq you had was nest mate to scalped one
Pic 8 is from pair not bred from for couple years blue pied cock and red hen
pic 9 you have a pair same way bred this year grizzle cock and cheq hen first time pairing
pic 10 is the one that kept getting pecked on floor you can see feathers just sprouting and he looks scruffy but will moult nicely I think
pic 11 slatey blue w/f is the one from an old pair that I let hatch to keep the line going
pic 3 is from grizzle hen down from the grandfather to the loft a 2006 dk cheq pied I put a pic up of the 2 oldest cocks in my loft a while back he is from a Arnie Tonks auction as anybody will know Arnie is one of the best national flyers and the cock is a blue pied who I nicknamed the seagull due to his colour

Cannot believe how these have changed in the time we have been away, had one of the remaining pair in nest out under boxes when we got back but in good order so well happy
