Pigeons arrived safe and well just before 9am. All looking good Buster.

The youngsters from Buster, mainly in the box perches, and my weaned ones on the floor and a couple in the box perches. The old hen that insists on mothering everything is in the bottom right box perch. She was hawked twice and has a dropped wing so won’t be able to race.

Glad settling ok, yes I had noticed a couple starting to perch over last couple days

Yes I owe you an apology Steve, that's two years running I've let you down with your babies I was looking forward to giving them a proper chance this year, I couldn't believe it when my youngsters started being sick last week it's not as bad as last year and so far I've not lost any I have a couple looking a bit ropey and still the odd green slimey droppings with the occasional sick amongst it. I started them on a course of Strike yesterday so hopefully they will start to pick up soon
Good to hear the youngsters have settled in well Andy and are already coming out, I hope they do well for you both.

How are they coming along Andy

They are coming on well Buster. They are starting to fly well now. I have them out for an hour in the mornings and a couple of hours in the afternoons. I did lose one off the loft unfortunately the first time they went out. I had another 3 or 4 have a night out in the early days. I knew I couldn’t afford to keep them in to long as most were quite strong when they arrived. They were put in with my own youngsters, which were probably slightly younger, before opening the fronts up after being in there for 3 days. It is always a worry when any go out for the first few times whether they’re your own or from someone else.

Yes couple was bit stronger but that was down to yours being ready before Trev's and then all coming down to you together changed everything but well done on only losing one, was it the blue on by any chance?
I know from other posts mine and yours did hatch around the same time as if memory serves me right you started ringing yours about a week after me

Oh was expecting a plain blue not the piedy one really surprised at that one as he was one of the youngest
