Got some of those packs from Halfords been trying them this week and have to say they work, what I do is put one on my left hand behind my glove the right one not so bad as use that scraping etc

Good to hear there helping Buster. I must say that my hands do split in this really cold weather. Although not as bad if not wet or windy. I don’t wear gloves though. I have gone back to my farming days when because of milking my hands were wet a lot of the time and used to split a lot. I have been to Mole Valley Farmers and brought a tub of udder cream, works great.

Gloves ,used to help my mentor when he was ill ,he had a 40 foot loft ( 25 widowhood cocks / hens along with a youngbird and a Stock loft in Winter that’s after I had cleaned out my lofts…and traveled 3 mile through snow / ice to his house in the bleakest winter conditions, can’t ever wearing gloves.

Rubber work gloves Stu, I have to wear things I would not normally or used to as my health conditions dictate the need to, never used to wear coats or anything except short sleeve T shirt and walk every where in all weathers

I have to say I have had various different kinds over the years and loved them. Most of them had a clicker in them to activate them and they would last an hour or so before going solid, you then had to boil them to reset them so were useable time and time again. I used to have them in pockets when cleaning out and bedding up the cattle during the winter. Think I've still got some somewhere, I'll have to look them out as I could have done with them over the past few days

These are disposable, they last for up to 10 hours
