Another nice eye. A good inner circle, serrated and full of dark shading. The violet colouration is a dominant violet. The iris is a nice colour and quite well broken. A good breeding eye.George and Morgan wrote: ↑Sat Feb 26, 2022 9:03 pm Andy this the eye of the hen that come from Dave Hawkins unfortunately she just dropped dead

The pupil in this one is quite large. Because of this the inner circle appears quite narrow but is full of dark shading. The iris is very full and flat almost completely covering the circle of colouration. I would say a good racing eye but probably not a very consistent breeder.

Very nice strong eye George full of distance, not having Andy's knowledge I couldn't say whether it's a breeding eye or not but it would go well with the very first eye in this post or the last one as they both have plenty of room to absorb the strength

I will be interested to see what he was paired to. In my opinion I would say a racing eye and not a breeder. Tell me if I’m wrong and that he bred a few good birds. For me although he has a very nice inner circle with both width and depth the iris is far to full.
