Talk about anything racing pigeon related here aslong as there isnt a section for it.

First time at Doncaster was a good show TBF, probably helped by a few friends having various trade stands

Something I did notice was the way that the bigger companies are ripping us all off with the meds
eg I always used to get my worm and canker treatments as soluble applications. I used to think that the large sachets from Pallets were good value for money. It seems that they have ALL done away with the soluble treatments now and all you can get now are pills.
If thats not bad enough - previous years I always got the Wurm T tabs from Rhonfreid which included 100 tablets, now all I could get were packs containing just 50 tabs at more than the price I paid last year for the 100 and the Belgica rip off for canker tabs was for just 25 tabs in a pack. Given how many times they recommend these treatments, I cant afford to keep that up at those sort of prices so mine will just be getting just one treatment a year.
Its certainly not a working mans sport anymore.

Cheers for looking out, but I didn't end up going to the show in the end, decided to give it a miss and try getting some more of the house move sorted out!

My brother went, and his feedback was that it was a good show, but very busy and expensive!

I buy online as I too want water soluble treatments as I can't be arSed to catch each bird to give a tablet. Some seem expensive online, but work out cheaper than tablets ;)
