I have 1 electric light in middle section and leave doors open when cleaning other sections to let the light through not very bright but does the job, before electric used to use the rechargeable work lights and just put on floor in each section while cleaning

I've only got battery LEDs, they throw enough light to work by and the birds can see the feed.
Even though I'm retired and could just wait for it to get light, I try to sort of stick to a routine and feed them around the same time. The days are getting long now, I'd better get out and feed them. :D
I've never used lights to hold them up in the moult or anything.

Thanks for the advice Murray

Looks like most if not all of you use no lights or very little, just wanted to know I'm ok not to use them and to let the birds live on natural light :D

I'm the same. With my bad lungs I'm a lot slower than I used to be, but that's okay, I've got all day. ;) Everything was always a rush when I was working.
And in a way it's good, I'm just pottering around, the birds are nice and calm, and I'm looking at all the babies and making sure everything is done.

Sounds great Murray, but I'm at that stage of rushing round once home from work and before the night draws in mate
