It has turned into a baby factory out there. :D
Babies everywhere, another 10 hatched overnight and three pairs with eggs chipping.
I have a pair of spare hens that paired up and laid 4 eggs. I slipped two of them under the old Thone' hen to keep her happy. The Heremans hen lays big eggs and the Thone' x Jansen hen lays small eggs so I sort of knew which was which.
Blow me down, all of them hatched last night! I reckon the Pitbull is probably the father of all of them, including the pair that his mate hatched last night so he's been a busy boy! He's sort of the dominant cock on that section. We'll see when they feather up.
It doesn't matter, they'll be going in a race team somewhere.
The things breed like rabbits.

I'm well pleased. The first 12 pairs have all hatched and there's 24 babies out of 24. :D
There was one egg that was hanging fire but it's hatched this morning. It's only the first week of spring and pretty cool still, we had a little frost yesterday, so they are doing well.
I've got three more pairs about a week away and all those eggs appear fertile so things are looking good.

 Yes, I often say these things would breed under water.
They are healthy and happy and we do get a lot of sunshine here which i think is so important. I certainly don't do anything very special, unless giving them a chopped up carrot and some spinach and celery top is special. :D
