Time to start thinking about my plans for OLR, after chatting to my mate Brianon loft visit. He said if i want some eeded for OLR next year, give him a shout. So it depends on whar OLR i could enter, long hard thought needed. Dont want to be sending youngsters, to a OLR where the birds cant show their true ability.

The owner of the Shropshire olr has sent all 14 pigeons he has left from 350 to the same race that I have sent 13 to but I still have 8 at home.
14 birds at £4.50 a bird means he has spent a grand total of £63.00 to get them in the same race. Not a bad return on the £53,500 he got from the entry fees and a couple of months work. The reality is that the more he loses, the more money he makes. That's what I call an incentive!

@diamondave I don't think he wanted to lose them😁 but he has definitely had a terrible olr and effectively destroyed it's future!! and I would not be surprised if none returned!!

What happens in a OLR, this gives you an idea of birds. Entering the loft can be very stressful, the youngsters health is so important.
