Look good mate best of luck with them we have had a lot of good results from our bulk birds we x them into veroot at the minute and they been phenomenal my 7th fed last week is from direct son of king Arthur to double gdtr of daughter to rosita, to a hen off luc veroot main stock hen in his basic breeders

Going give go try best with them was just thinking of busharts to cross them build family pigeons hopefully do well with them

Doesn't hurt to try things test the young if there an improvement on what you already have keep crossing into more of them that's how you will know

You can get some that have never been crossed from louella just for the genetics but depends why you want them, there day of performance against the bird today is gone but they can add to an established family, but taking a pair from louella you will not see anything decent out of them for several reasons of breeding if at all, always remember crosses make champions very few great birds was not crosses don't get fixated on bloodlines and pedigrees, but get fixated with birds available from winning birds that are performing the best in the area or olr intend to compete in

Great tip Danny that's opened my eyes a bit. with the birds I am getting soon, off 3 different fanciers, would you say when it comes to me breeding from them that I pair up the birds from the different breeders rather than keep to their own breed ?

Got one off friend paid a few quid for the cock he did and the hen was off a so.e one in Milton Keynes do realy well with is pigeons entire clerance

As you’ll have very little idea about their ability Tony to keep this simple I would just let them pair however they want. After breeding next year and a few races you will get some idea on the ones that have bred the best. Then the following year you can select your pairings.

What you have to remember is there never was such a thing as "pure" Busschaerts pigeon.
Georges Busschaerts used to buy the best he could find from everywhere to add to his loft. He said regardless of it's strain, if it was in his loft it was a Busschaerts.
