Very well done, but not for me, I'm afraid.
The AI doesn't know if the youngsters are a bit spooky after a hawk chased them, or I don't like the look of the sky up one road, so I decide to go up the other road, or the cocks are being a bloody nuisance so I take them out for a fly to knock some energy out of them.
In short, the AI doesn't have the sort of relationship with the birds that I do.
I'll stick with that.

That's understandable! I believe that if I felt the locations were not suitable I'd move on somewhere else!

I'm coming to the conclusion that the locations of where to train are much less important than the training itself regardless!

Using AI for training?

I did continue using it for a couple more distances out from this video, but ended up defaulting back to my known and tested training routes.

Mostly because I knew where I was going to without the satnav if I'm being honest!

What utter rubbish. AI to train birds. If you haven't got the intelligence to find a suitable training spot yourself to train from, you best finding a other hobby.

Honestly your replies are an absolute delight to read!

Dunno if I have at some point done something to upset you, or such at some point.

The purpose of the YouTube video from last year I shall point out, was to entertain people.

Most videos on the platform are there for entertainment purposes.

Now, I will point out that Ai is very good at data and pattern recognition, this means it's far quicker at noticing things that may take us a lot longer to recognise.

If there is something in the information being recorded that is worth noting, why wouldn't you want to find that information as fast as you can?

Thats effectively what I was doing with my use of Ai, it's less not being able to find somewhere suitable, more where are some optimal positions to train from in this weather/wind etc, when the first race is from there, and the fed will be pulling that way...
