Interesting King - do you play them all or do they stay in the sleeves.?
What sort of record player do you have?

King, I Got myself a record player last year and started buying LP / Vinyls again from what I was into in the 80s starting to get a good collection now. Devo there's a Record Fair in Woolton Village Club one Saturday in the month not sure if its the last Saturday in the month.

No not now Tony. I don’t really get the time. My last competition was about 6 years ago in a masters competition. Won 2 golds.

O wow, you must be good then mate well done you, shame you don't have the time to keep it up, like most things in life other things like work and family take over. Was the polo close to you or did you have a lot of traveling to do for matches ?

We played in the Somerset league which didn’t involve to much travelling but we also played in the western counties league which would involve playing against teams like Cheltenham, Cardiff, Swansea, Newton Abbot, Exeter etc. Some of these places are around 2 hours away. So with most matches starting at around 9pm and lasting roughly an hour we wouldn’t be getting home until the early hours from away games. Driving 2 hours, play for an hour then 2 hours back home.

I've a Audio Technica AT-LP5. Yes I do play them but not that often. The majority are in mint condition, they get played to check them when I buy them and the vast majority don't get played again, to preserve their condition.. I listen to music everyday though but normally that's online.

Its good to have the Vinyl back. but there not cheap even from record sales they seem to want top dollar for them
