The art of breeding
Over the years i have read different books on Breeding, i would say the art of breeding by Steven van Breemen. That is a book i enjoyed, breeding of racing pigeons as always been my joy. So hours of reserch of a evening, was my cup of tea. Looking at what family of birds could cross with another family of birds. Question after question and delving into the past succesful breeding lines, but what was i looking for? Well at the time a good middle distance bird, that could fly fast and maintain its speed while other birds fell of fthe pace. This brought me to Harry of Jan Hoymann croseed with Rudy of Gaby Vandenabeele birds. So i tracked down some birds i could use for stock. From some very good flying guys, in the sport. Breeding i would say is a art, it is not about just putting a cock and a hen together and hoping for the best.
