Your a very intelligent fella pal but your not thinking right with stock ya letting ya heart rule ya brain.
Now look at ya birds like you do a computer if a car run over ya computer and it was destroyed you wouldn't go to scrap yard and find loads of broken computers and try and make them a good one you would buy the best you could afford because you understand computers ,now racing 3 poor pigeons and then wasting a Yr racing there children is stupid pal I'm sorry to say this but you need to start thinking right if you ever want to compete racing I'm not saying winning but timing in on time regularly.

I can understand that, and I have brought in young birds this year to race also.

One of the birds I was racing this year was a former fed winner for another fancier, less than a mile from me.

So I know there is something there, however I get where you are coming from!

The harsh reality of pigeon racing Matt & management of your pigeons . Have to agree with Anthony & Neil which makes a lot of sense in sorting the wheat from the chaff each breeding & racing season. Hope you have an improvement with your ybs.

If they were breeding something that you could work with & you could see an improvement with health & racing consistency in your results it would make Winforts life a lot easier, but in reality your just making the same mistake as I've done in the past with breeding from poor stock & just wasting your time & money in the process.

Last Saturday I culled fed winner ,son of treble fed n son of best pair because they was plodding home not racing the next day my pal in unc from Maidstone 245 miles he's first 5 birds I bred he sent me ring numbers n he's first bird home I had culled it's dad the night before ok Winfort
Iv 48 racers in loft iv culled more than iv lost n I think if I culled 25 to 30 I wouldn't weaken my team at moment there coming but not first batch there 3 ,6,12 mins of fed batch there getting a chance until the weather warms because there yearlings but come July any birds coming 3 to 6 minutes of pace is getting removed ,,this ain't a butlins holiday center for pigeons they must race n score well in fed each week.
