I think you will mate lots of good fanciers there that race rather than breed to sell
North Liverpool fed and Liverpool Amal are the two to look for
Thanks Neil, I will start looking for contact details for me to get in touch with them.
Would you have a rough idea of cost to join a club and also the cost to put birds into race, just roughly
thanks for getting in touch Mike very much appreciated and any advice right now would be a blessing.
You and Neil have both said to get Y/Bs and work with them for next year so it looks like that's the way I'll be going forward.
I will be following as many result sheets as I can this season to try and plan to get some young birds from a winning team to give me a good start.
Really not sure on the racing to do, will I be governed by the club I join if they are racing up to say 250 miles this would then be sprint racing would it not ?
Plus I would need the birds in to either race long distance or sprint so I have a lot to work out and find out which would be the best way to go.
Going back to the loft I can only fit a 12ft x 6ft in the back garden with out upsetting the boss (Mrs) don't want to puss my luck to far at the beginning haha so you think spit it into 2 sections would be the best way to go.
Thanks again Tony

Split that 12 foot in 3 Tony
Your regret not having anywhere to split your pairs during the season and if you sprint where you are your need them split
Distance your be ok
ok Neil, I will look at splitting in to 3 sections, thanks
Ok Neil, again thanks for the info very helpful
should I go for wood or plastic V perches ?
should I go for wooden floor like Plywood for scraping out or shavings on top of the floor ?
The set up I have at the moment for the birds I have kept for many years, I have always had plywood floors and they have always been fine never get any damp but I know what you mean mate
